I can even make a separate sleeping area.It is large enough for 2 queen air mattresses on each side, with an area in between. I am 5’4″ and had plenty of extra headspace; none of us have to bend down.It was mostly easy to assemble the first time. Putting tents together is rather easy for me, this one requires 2 people because it really helps having someone hold up the other end as you lift it up.If you choose to stake it down, give plenty of slack on the tent. Otherwise, the doors are too tight to open. I was worried it would tear but it never did. Held up great.It rained on our trip and there were no leaks anywhere. It comes with a rain cover as well.Great tent and super easy to pack.”

We had two adults and three kids (all under nine years old) in it, and there was plenty of space for everyone to sleep comfortably. If you’ve ever crammed multiple kids into a tent before, you know how quickly things can start to feel tight, but that wasn’t an issue here. There was enough room for everyone’s sleeping bags, a few small bags, and still some space to move around.One of the biggest tests for any tent is how well it holds up in bad weather, and this one faced a full day and night of summer rainstorms. To its credit, it did an excellent job keeping us dry. The rainfly did its job, and we didn’t experience any leaks from above. However, the bottom of the tent wasn’t 100% waterproof, and we did notice a little moisture seeping through. Granted, a small river carved it’s way under our tent, it did a really good job for the conditions. It wasn’t enough to ruin the trip, but it’s something to keep in mind. I’d definitely recommend using a tarp underneath the tent for extra protection, especially if rain is in the forecast.Setup was relatively easy. Like most modern tents, it follows a standard design with flexible poles and clips, so getting it up and ready didn’t take long. One person could probably set it up solo with a little patience, but having two people made it much faster.Ventilation was another strong point. Even in humid summer weather, we didn’t feel overly stuffy inside. Customer Review: “I normally use name brand backpacking gear, but bought this for a “one-time” use at the last minute before a short trip with the grandkids.I was pleasantly surprised with it.Shortly after arriving at our site it started to rain and this tent set up quickly and didn’t leak.It has plenty of room for 4 (two adults and two kids).It doesn’t have any vestibule, so boots and backpacks need to stay outside under another cover, or in the tent.There’s only one door, so midnight trips out can be disruptive.The entire top 3/4 of the tent is mesh. So even with the rain fly on it breathes well.Since I only used it once I can’t speak to the durability of the poles. The bungee cord trough the poles seems “meh”, but worked fine for its first trip.Best of all was the price. I had no problem spending the money for this tent that was the right size, quality, and weight.”

And there was space at the front for bags and things. We took the cover off the tent and stayed cool all night and we could see the stars. The next day we put in back on and survived and major rainstorm. We did cover the whole thing with an extra-large tarp. But it stood up to the strong winds.”

I viewed the video linked through Amazon, and without any further instructions, I had the tent out of its bag and set up within 1 minute 18 seconds. There’s plenty of headroom to sit up, and at 5’11”, I was able to lie down with room to spare. Easily space for two people my size with a cuddly child in-between. When the bag is fully loaded with the fly, stakes, etc… it measures about 30 ” long and might weighs around 8 lb. My neighbor, the real camper, says it would be ideal for “car camping”, and could easily be “packed in” a few miles to a nearby campsite. My biggest challenge was getting it back into its bag. No problem collapsing the frame and gathering the tent..it was just difficult getting all of the fabric stuffed in. Actually made things a lot easier by using two of the supplied “wind” ropes to spiral-wrap the entire assembly and compress it enough to slip back into the bag very easily. SO: Lots of space in a small package. Clever construction and very easy to set-up and take-down. I don’t anticipate and problems with durability, but if there’s an issue, I’ll let you know.”

I am not much of a “camper,” but even without looking at the directions, this went up and down in minutes. I set this up in my foyer to check it out as there is currently about 24″ of snow outside and its roughly 7 degrees – see pics. The kids were also very interested in this and we look forward to many family adventures using it!”
