Customer Review: I purchased the DJI Mini 2 Fly More Combo in 2020 and it’s still working great and looks fine after years of use. I even crashed it into a tree at one point and broke one of the arms, but after replacing the part, the drone went back to working perfectly. That alone says a lot about how repairable and reliable it can be with basic care.The camera quality is very good for such a small drone. The sensor is decent, colors look great, and the footage is clean and stable thanks to the 3-axis gimbal. Control response is excellent and feels very precise, which makes flying smooth and predictable. Customer Review: Great drone! I’ve had the phantom series and Mavic pro , holy stone etc. This is a great smooth flyer in all modes. Battery life is as expected, I do wish it had follow me and obstacle avoidance. But all and all it’s an amazing lil drone without going into the $1000+ range. Distance is a solid couple miles without any interruption. Build feels solid , and the camera is amazingly clear even while using the zoom at full magnification. If you’re debating on the RC controller with the built in screen. Go for the upgrade. It’s so worth not having to mess with a phone.

Customer Review: The media could not be loaded. Received FLYMORE package today from Amazon October7, 2023. Ordered last night around 8pm and received package around 10am… Fast! Like many “Precious or delicate” items ordered from Amazon I got the typical box nearly twice the size of the box inside… usually not a problem unless it’s the typical box twice the size of the box inside with ZERO bubble wrap, air pack, or crumbled paper you SHOULD have to protect the nearly 1800$ box inside, so yeah, Cool…. Thanks Amazon for the I don’t “care package”! And wouldn’t you know… the DJI box had a dent on the bottom of it, just what you want to see when you spend your hard earned money or in my case charged, using the 12mo. Financing and haven’t even made my first payment yet….come on Amazon!, you make way too much money to cut corners and have no excuses.On to the drone…. Unboxed and items seem to be ok thanks to the great packaging by DJI utilizing the nice carrying bag as it’s packaging insulation.I have everything opened up and ready, and the power bank charger cable is due to arrive in a few days. The point in starting this in real time review is that I figured I’d go ahead and plug the USB c charger into the average standard charging outlet at least so I can potentially fly before the arrival of the power bank charger… however I plugged it in shortly before 11am and it’s now 9pm as of writing this and Not even the first battery is at 3 bars than it dawned on me that my MacBook Pro had a USB c power bank charger, and sure enough.. I plugged it in and the speed went from Snail to rapid and within 30 minutes it finished the first and now 3/4 the way on the 2nd battery. This is what compelled me to start the review earlier for those that want to save a few bucks and happen to have a newer MacBook Pro with the same output range charger, before doing so however double check the specs of the DJI version and your current one first for the same or similar “safe” output V/A.This is my first DJI drone, I’ve had many, I can already tell that without even flying it yet that the build quality has surpassed all but one 10k cinema drone that’s out of my budget, so I’m eager to fly and thus far impressed with what I see from DJI.That’s it for now, weather permitting i will check back in with updates, as the journey begins…. And with fingers crossed hopefully the journey ends well too.Happy flying!Update-12/29/23The drone is absolutely amazing, I have been on several trips and the footage is bar none the best! I haven’t had any lag which you see in most below average drones constantly which really is what causes you to crash, so this is exceptional as you won’t be flying into a stray object unless you’re not paying attention.The obstacle avoidance is great but keep in mind it will NOT pick up objects with little definition… limbs with no leaves are a nemesis…. So high alert if flying near them.All in all I’ve been so impressed with the quality of DJI, since this purchase I went in to buy the pocket 3, the mini pro 4 fly more, the DJI dual mics, the iPhone gimbal, the ronin 3 pro gimbal and so on, I’m blessed to be able to do so. The company and products are great! And I needed a core company and product line to wrap around for my upcoming ventures.I can see them entering the Full Frame or cinema style Camera scene soon and if so, I will take the leap, until then I’m with my Nikon for that.I hope to see Major upgrades to the software App side however, that is one of two weakness that should be noted of DJI as whole that I’ve spotted thus far… the second is important as well, and that is the “Intelligent battery” system doesn’t seem to be intelligent enough to maintain the batteries power, so do make sure you top off batteries if they have sat idle for days or weeks, as they do lose power. I was a bit disappointed with this however I purchased the 2 yr extended plans on all the devices and if they fall short I will be filing a claim on those in particular.No other issues thus far… as of this update, absolutely buy this if you’re on the fence. I don’t even know if I will ever need to fly that long, but already pleased to be able to fly longer than before! No need to interrupt my flights for battery changes.2. Much, much better obstacle sensing: Air 3 comes equipped with omnidirectional obstacle sensing. This feature has been incredibly valuable during my flights, giving me the confidence to fly with ease and focus solely on shooting.Something to consider:It’s a pricey gear. It comes with a higher price tag compared to the Mini 3 Pro. For beginners, it might be better to go with the Mini first. However, if you’re serious about taking your aerial photography to the next level, Air 3 is well worth it.There is a learning curve: As a feature-rich drone, mastering all of Air 3 capabilities can take some time and practice. The various flight modes, camera settings, and advanced features require patience and dedication. Customer Review: What an amazing drone. So easy to control. Amazing picture quality. And so handy, I use this to check my roof after major wind storms and to see if the gutters need cleaning. I fly it by the river to watch the eagles fish. Also use it for predator control, chasing foxes away from chicken coop. Flight times are good, just depends on what you are doing. Turned off obstacle avoidance for more speed and ended up flying backwards into a tree while chasing a fox. I used the find my drone feature that flashes the lights and emits a beeping tone. Located drone quickly in a huge stand of trees. Expected to find a mangled wreck. Nope! Cracked plastic on one of the camera support arms and some banged up prop blades. Replaced prop blades, epoxyed the crack, recalibrated camera and away it went. Built like a tank. Flight controls are fairly intuitive and easy to use. The obstacle avoidance (when used) does a great job on larger items, doesn’t see small tree limbs or power lines. Don’t ask how I know this. So, over all this is an amazing drone that makes you want to go bigger and badder. But, alas, I am poor, so I will stick with this, and enjoy the heck out of it.

Customer Review: Amazing drone! I have flown it for my business for over a year with no issues. It’s a great price for entry level. The camera has a great gimbal and provides stable picture and videos even with fast movement. Lightweight allows you to carry it with little strain. Does well under moderate wind conditions and the sensors make it easy for beginners to fly it without as much concern for crashing.

Customer Review: (Update – motion controller will not charge with usb-c to usb-c smart charger. Only with standard usb to usb-c. The rest of the batteries will work with super fast charging. )This is my first drone. I like the fpv for me it’s easier to fly. The motion controller only takes a few minutes to get the hang of. I will be getting the other controller so I can put it in manually mode. I’ve crashed more times than I can count lol. And it’s held up. I’m talking sport mode 30+ mph straight into a concert wall and nothing broke. Turtle control works good. The only problem I’ve had after flipping it’s self back upright is sticks or thick grass/ weeds stick the propeller . It won’t start if something is blocking the blade. One WARNING ⚠️ if you get motion sickness easily don’t get fpv. Otherwise this is a awesome beast of a drone.

Customer Review: DJI Avata is everything that I have wanted in an FPV drone and more. It’s not so much as a successor to the DJI FPV but rather a whole different beast. I feel that it’s a bit underpowered if you want to rip it (although it is very capable of doing that) but I think that DJI Avata is focused more on getting cinematic footage. The experience is very different from the typical drone like the Mini 3 Pro or Air 2S. Whereas the usual Mavics are more linear, the DJI Avata lets you move at moore circular motions, plus you can do flips and rolls that obviously usual drones cannot do.I was able to bring the DJI Avata for a wedding and the quality of videos that I got were very different from what I used to offer my clients. The couple really loved my shots because they were innovative and fresh. Controlling the drone with the motion controller took some getting used to but I quicklyy got the hang of it after a while. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience with the goggles as the view was as real as can be, definitely better than looking at footage from a phone or remote. The groom even got in some flying time during breaks as he’s a drone pilot as well. I probably made DJI a sale with the way he enjoyed himself haha!
