Customer Review: “I bought this heater to replace a tiny Lasko myHeat which stopped working after 1.5 years. I use it under my desk at work. Since the old tiny Lasko had a fairly small heat output, and I was often still cold even with a blanket, I decided to try a different heater. The actual size (dimensions) of this heater is great for my use. Still fits easily under my desk and since it is black, it is also inconspicuous (we’re not supposed to have heaters in my office, but it’s just too damn cold!). The noise level of this heater is significantly higher than the tiny Lasko it replaced. If someone walks into my office, they will definitely notice that something is running, but it’s mostly just serves as white noise, which I like as it helps to drown out the sounds of my office mate.Well, I took this item to work for the first time and boy! … this thing sure puts out the heat! I’ve ran it on low with the thermostat dial set at just under 1/4 turn. I’m burning up! Which rarely happens, especially in this ice box of a room. It has run all day at this low heat setting (i.e. the thermostat hasn’t cut off once, but I’ve confirmed that feature does work) so yes, my office is obviously quite cool (and even colder in the summer! Phoenix AC levels … brrrr!), but I’m worried that this heater puts out too much heat for this particular need. If I wasn’t worried about my heater being brought to the attention of someone who may confiscate it, I would set it in the corner and just let it heat up the entire room as I believe it would be great for that purpose. But alas, I require a small, inconspicuous, under the desk heater that keeps me warm and is reliable to run 8+ hours a day.I can’t speak to longevity yet, but if you’re looking for a small space heater that really gets the job done, definitely take a look at this little machine. It should easily heat up a small bedroom / bathroom with no trouble.”

Customer Review: “Purchased this early winter to heat the built in back porch that our kids now use as a game room. It’s part of the heated space of the house but less insulated, so always just a bit cool. We’ve used this little guy al winter and it works great. Even on the coldest nights, the 9×13 space heats to very warm in about 10 minutes. Thermostat works well. The mid-level heat option works fine if you are going to leave it on, but the max power works great for heating the space quickly, when you mostly leave it off and enter a cold room. The kids didn’t burn the house down with it, so seems reasonably safe. If I had a complaint, and I don’t it works fine for me, but the fan isn’t super strong. If you’re expecting the heat to disperse of a large space with the fan, it’s not going to do that. The trade off (that is good in my opinion) is that the fan is almost silent. You can hear it, but it makes very little sound. I’d have no problem sleeping beside this heater it is so quiet.”

Customer Review: “These heaters are excellent. I own 2 and I’m buying a 3rd. I bought them on Amazon over a year ago and use them daily in the winter (Nov-March). We live in Vermont and primarily heat with wood and wood pellets. There are a few areas that the wood heat has a hard time reaching in our house so I bought these to supplement. We use one in our bedroom and one in our toddler’s room. They heat up quickly, warm larger rooms well, and the thermostat, timer, etc work as advertised. I saw a review that complained about the unit reaching 77 when set to 73. The manual clearly states that the thermostat allows the temp to rise 4 degrees above the set temp before shutting off. It then kicks back on when it reads 1 degree below set temp. This gives the unit time to cool down while the room temp gradually (or not so gradually in an old house like ours) drops back to the set temp. Otherwise this thing would just keep running and be turning on and off way more frequently if there’s only a 2 degree temp range. This isn’t your home furnace…it’s a small space heater with a reasonably accurate and reliable thermostat. Also keep in mind it sits down low so the temp it reads may differs slightly from the temp read by a thermometer higher up in the room. I have accurate analog thermometers in every room to monitor heat distribution and can say these units are consistent and register the same temp drops and elevations that my room thermometers do. They’re usually reading a few degrees cooler than my thermometers which I expect since they’re low and on a cold floor. As far as safety goes, we’ve had zero issues with overheating or any issues I’ve seen in other reviews. With a mix of newer and older wiring we’ve had no issues whatsoever. We have these running all night nearly every night from November to March and during extra cold days we move them around if we’re home and cold. When running they are warm but not dangerously hot to the touch. Even the front grill can be touched without burning when operating on high output after a running a while. My toddler does not mess with it but has accidentally knocked it over and picked it back up safely by himself while it’s running. Likewise my dog likes to lay near it and has run into it without injuring himself. These heaters have not led to a major energy cost increase. In summary, I highly recommend these. Like I said, was back on this page over a year later to buy another one because they’re that good. I’ve used a number of alternatives and none has matched the heat output, energy cost, or safety these have provided so until I have an issue I’ll stick with them. I will update this review if anything changes.”

Customer Review: “This is one of the best infered box heaters I’ve ever used. Can feel the heat blowing out at an acceptable distance and fan is pretty powerful. Temperature sensor works great and puts out great amount of heat for a medium to large room. the thermostat click is little louder than others I’ve used but isn’t to loud either. Works great on auto temperature shuts off and turns on like it should. It has a timer but I’ve never used those as I like setting temp and forgetting about it. Has a cleanable air filter and remote too. I would recommend this brand and may buy another one for my gameroom.I’ve used these kinda heaters for years and have experienced many brands. The most common issues about these style heaters with other brands are issues with temperature sensor being incorrect and or not coming on when temp drops because it’s not reading the drop in temp correctly. some just don’t put out hot heat and or have a weak fan.”
