Customer Review: “This saw works very well when used as directed in the instructions. I have it powered from a 20-amp outlet and I take my time cutting and let the tool do the work. Previous reviewers commented that it constantly trips breakers, but this was not my experience. If you try to hurry the cutting process, you’ll put an excessive load on the motor which causes it to draw a higher current which, in turn, trips the breaker. I needed to cut concrete indoors and I couldn’t use a gasoline powered saw since they produce deadly carbon monoxide, so I purchased this saw. I also use it to cut those keystone-shaped landscape retaining wall blocks in one pass. It produces an accurate and clean cut. I am very satisfied with this tool.”

Customer Review: “Purchased this instead of renting for my remodel. Cut away part of my existing driveway to pour a new slab. Had to cut the curb also and it cut through the rebar just fine. Also cut the brick off the side of the house. I could have used a smaller grinder for the brick, but I wanted to get a nice clean cut all the way through. This grinder hasn’t disappointed me at all so far. The one thing I wish it had was a water attachment to minimize dust and cool the blade, but I just had someone hold a hose for me. Overall, I think it’s a great value as opposed to renting for more than a couple days work. Since I know I’ll be using it more in the future, but not regularly, I wanted to go electric rather than dealing with maintenance on a gas saw.”

Customer Review: “This saw has a robust air filter system that is way better than older models. You can run for much longer periods of time before replacing the filter. And it’s easier to get the old filter out and the new one in.It’s just about the right weight and still get the job done. I’m a stone mason and run a small crew. I have three of these on the job or in the trucks. I need them in locations where we do not have electricity, and they really save us a lot of time. I use a mad dog blade for the sandstone that we are usually working with.Some have mentioned that it does not come with a blade and that is standard practice with all saws that I’ve ever bought, because they do not know what you’re going to be cutting like steel, stone or concrete, hard stone or soft stone and wet or dry? So, order your blades accordingly. Soft stone needs hard steel, and hard stone needs soft steel is the way I understand it.”

Customer Review: “I used it today to cut a 4 feet wide concrete wall way with 3/8” rebar and it does the job well. Also tried to cut a 60mm (2 and 3/8”) concrete paver— it is much easier to cut than the slab. All these are what I expected before ordering the tool. Highly recommended for a home owner for light concrete jobs! Don’t know what pro would say as I am not a pro nor a contractor.Good features: you Can connect your water hose to this machine which has a connector to run water to suppress 95+% of dust! Very desirable feature. Only R300+ model has this so make sure it is R300+ model. Two small wheels can support the tool during cutting concrete slab, reducing 90% fatigue you may have. It comes with a nice diamond blade so I don’t have to spend extra money on a blade. Lastly it is an electrical too, no gas engine.Something to mention also not so critical: the hose connector leaks as the O-ring does not fit or the connector does not have the right inner diameter. Manufacturer please fix this. It does not bother much but should not also water leak. The plastic storage recess cannot hold the wrench properly, plastic part may have been broken at factory as I didn’t break any parts.Overall, perfect for home owner whose likes to do small concrete job. All major functions work very well. Some minor things are there but won’t affect you muchI give it a 5 star. If all issues are fixed I will give it 6 star.”

I initially rented a walk behind saw to cut the drivway into larger slabs that were dropped off at my house.i’ve been using this saw to cut thenm into 2’x3′ sections that will be used as replacement steps down a hill, & other retaining wall areas that don’t require better looking blocks. Customer Review: “Impressed. I run it on a generator with a 30a plug so I had no issues with power. It runs on a 15a wall outlet but if didn’t cut anything. That being said, it’s a beast! Cut about 60’ of concrete with it ranging from 4-6” thick with rebar in it. Not a problem. Was able to do really straight cuts by pushing into the work. Did a small 1” deep cut first and then went back and did full depth. The bad. It’s heavy. The guard is a little flimsy but you can work around it easily. Your finger/hand will get tired of holding the button in after a while. Working on vertical stuff is doable, but like I said, it’s heavy. So if you’re not used to working with heavy stuff, you may have a problem. This is the 16” version btw. The water hoses are kind of cheap as said, but it works flawlessly. Fast straight cuts. No overheating and I didn’t stop to let it rest. Not one part was ever hot to the touch. Saved money and now have a tools for the future! I’ve used similar machines at work that cost more but didn’t cut anything better. Highly recommend.”

Every thing that other comments post about is true — it is a terrific value for the price, although it has gone up $40.00 in price since I bought it last week (due to tariffs, I assume). It cuts very well and is easy to use. I plugged it into a 20 amp breaker circuit and it never tripped it, even with the deepest passes that I could make. I recommend wearing a respirator when using it although the dust is minimized by the water feed system using a small pump and a bucket of water. But . . . . the 14″ saw does not cut to 5″ depth on a concrete slab when the guide is installed. Around 3.5″ is what I was able to obtain. Whether you want to risk taking the guide off and trying to get more depth is up to you, but I would not recommend it. Nevertheless, 3.5″ was deep enough for me because the concrete easily breaks even though the total depth of the concrete was actually 4 to 4-1/2″. Because of the depth issue, I would rate it at 4.5 stars out of 5, but I rounded up because I otherwise think it works really well.”

Customer Review: “This saw is great for the money.I used this saw to cut through 100s of 2.375″ patio pavers, nearly 12 feet in length at 4 inches deep of asphalt. The blade does not yet need to be replaced.The saw is easy to operate, and for me, required the use of an adapter so I could use this saw with a standard outlet.My only gripe, which has a simple fix, is the factory applied screws holding the handle in place – they back out during use. (Could be a major safety hazard!) I used a torque wrench (5.5Nm) and some durable silicone thread lube, and they have yet to back out.I was careful to use a dust control system and water spray, and did not experience any shorts, loss of power, or over heating. I would caution the user attempting water spray to make sure the tool stays as dry as possible and only spray the cutting surface area.Just as all saws of this size, torque over-steer is a common result of something so heavy spinning so fast. As always, wear proper PPE. I feel much safer using this saw than a gasoline saw.UPDATEI’ve since cut hundreds of feet of reinforced concrete – I’ve had 8 blades through this thing. It’s convenient, it’s reliable, it has enough power if you’re patient. This is the IDEAL homeowner saw. If you’re a concrete contractor, this would also be a good saw to have in reserve or for indoor cuts.”

Customer Review: “I purchased this saw to cut up large pieces of sandstone for a patio. The saw cuts any type of stone that I have tried to cut including concrete. Some type of mask is required in my opinion the amount of dust created is excessive. Just like any other concrete saw. It’s so bad that you should to check if your neighbors windows are open if your neighbors are close by. So, the fact that they advertise the fact that the saw has no fumes is meaningless. The saw needs a dedicated 20amp circuit. Even with a dedicated 20amp circuit the saw would sometimes trip the breaker on startup. It seemed if the saw sat for a long period of time it was more likely.As far as the cord, it has a 20 amp plug. My initial plan was just to run the saw off my generator but, unfortunately the cord is too short (7ft) to use the saw with a generator without moving the generator every foot or so. I ended up cutting off the plug the saw came with and installed a typical 15amp plug. Then, using an extension cord to a 20amp outlet.For the money the saw is hard to beat. It cuts well, has plenty of power for a 12 inch blade, and its affordable. When you compare the cost of this saw to a gas powered unit it’s impossible to beat”
