I stack it high and heavy, and the Gorilla cart takes everything easily, even on dirt trails or uneven terrain. When it gets really heavy (not sure, maybe when you get up to around 800lbs.), it definitely feels tougher to pull, but is still doable with a little willpower and elbow grease. No matter the weight , it rolls very smooth, and easily.The Gorilla cart is simply an amazing, beefy beast, and paid for itself after the first day of use (at least for me with firewood).Just for the hell of it, I also pulled two full sized adults and a child approximately two miles, and it barely felt any heavier or different to pull than when empty, so it’s also great for pulling kids, and fat, lazy adults.Just some technical FYI: the rails remove easily and are strong enough, but the front or back rails support the sides, so you can remove either the front or back alone, but not both, otherwise the side rails collapse and it becomes a flat bed.It’s a valuable, tough tool with a million potential uses.”

Customer Review: “I suppose I couldn’t be more satisfied with my purchase.I bought this in June 2020 for hauling items like firewood around the yard. We’ve heated our home with wood for 3 decades now, so a stable, sturdy cart for hauling wood was overdue, especially after all of those wheelbarrow loads tipped over en route. Assembly could not be much simpler, as all parts were high quality, well packed, marked and even the assembly hardware came clearly wrapped in blister wrap. If you tie your own shoes in the morning, you can probably assemble this cart. A recent storm took down an enormous red oak tree; that event created the opportune moment to upgrade to this cart.Capacity is rated at 1400 pounds, and I’ve probably approached or exceeded that figure with large, green logs and chunks of firewood. I’ve hauled all the loads through the woods using human power, but the conversion of the tow handle to tractor-hookup looks real easy. Large pneumatic tires make the going easier, and even top-heavy loads seemed completely stable over bumpy, hilly ground.Once or twice, I removed the rear gate (fence) to make room for longer logs; in those cases, I used a ratchet strap across the back so I wouldn’t stress or spring the sides. You should do something similar, as it’d be easy to damage the sides if the rear is removed. BTW, removing/installing the 4 sides is super quick and simple.So, my regular yard tasks of hauling firewood, grass clippings, mulch, leaves, stones, etc. just got easier and safer.”

Customer Review: “The price was the deciding factor in buying this cart. The cart went together without a problem. All parts fit as they should. All hardware was plated to resist rust and was of reasonable quality. I did add some wide washers on either side of the foot pedal to stabilize it on the pivot bolt, but other than that I was happy with the design and quality. The size is pretty small, but for my needs (mostly hauling dirt and flowers) it will be fine. My wife likes how easy it is to move by hand and attach to the lawn tractor.This cart is rated as capable of hauling 500 lbs, but I have my doubts. The sheet steel used for the bottom and sides of the box is pretty thin. I feel this should have been heavier material, but again for my use it should be just fine. It would be a simple improvement to add a 3/4″ piece of plywood beneath the bottom panel and use longer screws to hold the cart together if I wanted to strengthen the box.I would recommend this item – with the caveat that for moving heavy bulky items you may want one that is more robust.Update after a season of use –The cart has been used constantly for hauling brush, yard waste and flowers without a problem. I’m pretty sure I never loaded it up beyond about 250 lbs. The cart has handled going through our woods over roots and bumps without a problem. Also, I added a 25 gallon sprayer and a small boom kit to create a sprayer and it has worked out very well. I liked the cart enough that I added some personalized touches as shown in the pix. The overall rating was updated to five stars and I would highly recommend this cart for light yard work as described here.”

Customer Review: “It took me nearly 2 hours to assemble this myself with basic hand tools. It felt a little flimsy coming out of the package. But once assembled, it feels nice and sturdy. The instructions were mostly easy to follow, excluding the last step, which wasn’t very clear as to how the rear frame section should fit to the side and bottom panels. In fact, I may very well have it wrong as the bottom panel is slightly bowing between the screws at the rear edge of the cart. It doesn’t bother me enough to take it apart and try again. Also worth noting, is that they must have updated the lengths of some of the hardware without updating the instructions, as the instructions referred to fastener lengths that aren’t in the package. Being that there is only a few sizes of screws, it wasn’t difficult to figure out. The hardware is nicely packaged and labeled, which was appreciated. For the price, I am very satisfied with the cart. The paint and finish looks great, and it seems well constructed. It should serve my purpose for light duty use in the yard very well.”

Customer Review: “The trailer took about 2.5 hours to assemble without trying to rush it and I was using actual ratchets and gear wrenches, NOT the cheap basic wrenches that come in the hardware kit. The assembly instructions are limited but if you are mechanically inclined and think about the assembly, you won’t have any problems. At first I questioned the sturdiness but as it came together, the trailer is very sturdy and solid. All parts were in good shape, all hardware was of the correct amount and in good order. A few things would be easier to do with two people, but again, thinking through it and using some creativity, one person can assemble the trailer. The bed size is just about right. The trailer is heavier but can be easily wheeled around by hand for basic moves and storage. It did great moving some firewood behind my zero turn and I’m looking forward to moving some gravel and use the dump bed feature which works great. Do think the cotter pin removal that secured the dump bed could be altered some for easier removal. The trailer is very stable and rolls great on rougher terrain. So far I’m very pleased with the purchase and glad I went this route versus another option I was considering that cost quite a bit more.”

Customer Review: “I am giving 5 stars because I am pleased with the quality of the finished product.. that being said I almost gave less because the instructions rank in the top 5 worst instructions ever. Also, there was no damage to the box, but there was an about 1 inch square ding/dent/scratch on one panel. I plan to use this outside, so scratches are going to happen, so I don’t really care. TIP* this thing is heavy, and it has to be moved around multiple times in order to reach bolts from both sides. If you can’t lift 50+ awkward pounds easily, you will need help. First thing get out your 1/2 inch sockets and driver!! There are so many bolts and they send a couple super cheap 13mm metric open end wrenches, that are not the correct size, and are just this side of worthless. Last tip, because the instructions suck so hard, you will be removing and replacing half a dozen or so bolts to add later parts. If you have a driver with a 1/2 inch socket and 1/2 inch box end wrench, no big deal. Took me 2.5 hours but I didn’t start using the proper tools for over an hour, because I’m hard headed 😖”

Customer Review: “Current review. May add an update later. See pics. It was great dealing with the shipping company. They called and set a day and time. Great service delivered on a pallet in front of my garage as requested. Only issue is the box was trashed on one side BUT no damage and no parts missing.Easy to assemble the cart. Make sure you grease what they tell you to and use a grease gun on the nipple of the transaxle. Keep the front wheel off to do that.I bought the cage and hitch separately. The cage was actually a little more challenging to assemble and attach to the cart. Should’ve had another person for that but I made it work. The trick is to keep all the cart bolts loose until the cage is on. Just tighten the main frame stuff but leave the cart body bolts loose. Set the cage on the body for measurements as instructed, and drill the holes as explained, THEN tighten the body to the cart. If you don’t, it will be hard to get your arm around the cage to hold the body bolts to tighten. Make sure the body is locked in to the frame dump release before you tighten so it stays straight. Then, put the cage back on and tighten that.Took it for a test drive in my woods over some tough wooded terrain. Worked great, but it was empty, so we’ll see what happens with a load. I’ve read a few reviews on the wheels flipping upside down with a load on going over logs, so we’ll see.It is difficult to maneuver on its own unattached because of the four wheels. The wheels scrape on the grass, so pick your spot. Harder to turn to put it in the garage, but that’s just normal for this cart.No issues with the attached hitch for me. Fits fine on my ball hitch to the atv.It’s huge and I’m looking forward in seeing what it does. As it is, looks great and seems to be very sturdy.Put it on your saved list and wait for the price to drop. I got it for about $200 less checking it for about a week.UPDATE: June 23It’s great! Customer Review: “Bought this 5 years ago and I still love it. It works great and is super sturdy. I also bought the fence/gate that fits on top. I use it for hauling wood. I can fill this bad boy up over the top with huge pieces of oak and it handles all of it no problem. It is very, very light and easy to move around by hand. The large tires allow me to pull it deep into the woods and drive over smaller fallen trees and rocks, etc. The only negative thing I’d say is that it doesn’t really “dump.” I mean, it tilts back very easily but not everything comes dumping out of it. You need to assist with the dump to get everything out. Not a huge deal at all but don’t be surprised when you go to dump your first load of wood, and you have to pull have it out by hand. Bottom line is that if this ever got destroyed by a tornado or stolen, I’d buy this exact model again. Very pleased.”

Customer Review: “Arrived in a timely fashion, in good order, found it to be well packaged. Had no problem matching parts up with diagram, then put washers and nuts to bolts, so as I grabbed each one, it was ready to go. I’m a retired USCG aviation maintenance technician, I found the instructions were simple to follow – assembly was easy, took about 1.5 hrs at a relaxed pace. Yes, (4) wrenches, (1) 3/8” drive ratchet, (4) sockets – no fuss, no muss. Install all hardware per step loose at first then tighten after all are in place. I did replace the 45° grease fittings with 90°’s, adjusted that I can get at them more easily with a grease gun. Those “bearings” are actually bushings, so yes, they need a thin coat of grease before install, then the cavity between axle / axle housing needs to be filled with grease via the fitting. The only issue I have is that the description in Amazon has 700 lb and 500 lb capacity listed – so, which one is it? 500, as per the instructions. Robust and solid, this unit will serve well.”
